12 Million Children In Yemen Need Help
11 December 2020
The United Nations describes Yemen as"the most dangerous place on earth to be a child."

The United Nations has recently warned that famine-like conditions have already started for some children.
- 2.1 are acutely malnourished
- 358,000 severely malnourished
- One child dies every 10 minutes from a preventable disease
- Two million are out of school
- And thousands have been killed since the civil war erupted in 2015
The situation on the ground is a complex web of crises.
- Conflicts across 49 frontlines
- Economy - A near-total collapse of the national economy
- Infrastructure — from hospitals and schools to water and sanitation systems — on the brink of collapse
- A COVID-19 pandemic sweeping across the country
These figures are not just numbers, but children in desperate need of help.

We can do something about it and help communities who are fleeing violence.
With your support, Muntada Aid has started a long-term food programme in Yemen providing the food provisions to families and internally displaced people (IDPs).
Our food packs can last for a month for a family of 5 members. Each pack contains monthly ration of wheat flour, pulses, vegetable oil, sugar and salt.
Help Muntada Aid reach more families in Yemen.
