Your Qurbani is more than just a sacrifice
It’s about your sacrifice and love for Allah.
Every year we remember the story of Ibrahim. It was one of struggle, loss, joy and submission. He sacrificed to seek God’s pleasure. For us now, Eid ul Adha is a time of celebration but not all of us are in a position to enjoy this day. For many, this is the only time they will eat meat. Now following in his footsteps, uphold the selfless tradition of Prophets Ibrahim (a.s.) & Prophet Ismail (a.s.), and fulfil your sacrifice, out of love for Allah, and provide fresh, nutritious meat to some of the most impoverished and needy communities across the world.
It is neither the meat nor their blood that reaches Allah,
but it is the piety from you that reaches Him.
This year Muntada Aid is delivering Qurbani in some of the hardest to reach communities, including towns trapped within conflict zones, refugee families who have fled violent persecution and villages surviving in abject poverty. In emergency zones and regions of severe poverty, many parents sacrifice their meals out of love for their children, and their adequate development, as well as towards the wellbeing of their elderly. This means many families, out of circumstance suffer from insufficient food supplies, their diet is imbalanced, and they are at risk of malnutrition, illness and fatigue.
For some of the blessed recipients, this will be the only meat they eat all year, whereas in stark contrast, many of us, have been blessed with the options and ability consume meat when we and our families desire.
This Eid al Adha, Love Allah, Love Humanity and complete your Qurbani with Muntada Aid.
